Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee Poster This and other posters are availible from the Ameba Graphics Shop This is my first successful Oddworld Poster in a series of 4.I initially was going with the same screen printed formula that worked for the Doctor Who posters, but decided to opt for a different feel alltogether for Oddworld. I picked Art Deco because its a style I really admire but haven't had anything design wise to really get my teeth into and have a go with. After my first non start (see scraps) I went with this design.I feel that it captures the essence of the games introduction movie, having a dystopian alien planet with a giant polluting meat packing machine that is unwelcome there. The stars overhead all the smog not only represent Abe's possession stars, but that there is something natural and magical above all this industrial nonsense. Abe’s moon again showing that even Rupture Farms cant escape the fickle finger of fate.
